                       Announcements

Please….Please….Please complete your club survey and return it to Dick Wilhelm ASAP! The board wants to review these as soon as possible and advise the members of the results.

Eric reported the usual date for the board meeting of March 30th has been changed.  Dick Wilhelm  offered to have the board meeting at his home on Friday, March 26th. This may be a pot luck dinner but more on that later.  The board encourages all members to attend.  This will be more like the  fellowship meetings that we have held in the past.

Terry Zebarth reminded us of the Starlight Spectacular bicycle ride, June 12thSeveral of our members plan to participate and more are considering this 14 to 22 mile ride.  This should be a memorable event with free pizza, free hot coffee and a pancake breakfast after the ride.

Mark Elliott suggested that we find another place for lunch on March 18th.  One with several TV’s as this is the start of the basketball eliminations.  He will look into this and report back.

Thanks to Terry Zebarth for bringing used hearing aids and batteries for HEARS!

                      Business Notes

Bob Louden was not here today, therefore, no business notes.

                           Program

The scheduled program for today cancelled, which gave us the opportunity to discuss last weeks program presented by Jo Carroll and Jerry Losey of Monument Hill Sertoma/Kiwasis Club.

Our club appears to be going the way of Sertoma Inc. The  membership continues to decline through attrition and  difficulty  securing new members.

Although we have a membership of about 40, less than half show up for the weekly meeting.  We pay for 20 meals weekly while only 14 to 18 members attend.   We need more members to attend the weekly meetings.  We all need to be more proactive and understand that we share common interests and objectives.  Hopefully the surveys will have some positive suggestions that we can implement.

Our club is made up of very dedicated  and dynamic members.  Let’s keep it that way!

                          $$$$$$$$$$

Rod Wells and Terry (maybe this will bring him back) Davis shared the small pot and Terry Z received the big pot.
